Seaturns joins Aquitaine Blue Energies to strengthen its commitment in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Seaturns is pleased to announce its membership in Aquitaine Blue Energies (ABE), the leading regional cluster dedicated to marine renewable energies in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Founded in Bordeaux, Seaturns has been developing an innovative wave energy technology since 2015, aimed at producing local, predictable and competitive renewable electricity from ocean waves. This membership naturally aligns with the company’s territorial and industrial strategy.
A strong regional presence at the heart of Gironde
This initiative comes at a key moment, as Seaturns prepares to reach a major milestone in its development with the launch of Phase II of its full-scale testing program, offshore the Gironde estuary, as part of the Seawest 1 project.
This site was selected for:
the quality and consistency of its wave resource,
its logistical accessibility,
and conditions representative of future industrial deployment.
Testing, producing and demonstrating the performance of wave energy in Nouvelle-Aquitaine is a strategic choice fully embraced by Seaturns.
